To All,

We have now posted the final menu for the reunion dinner located at: http://www.ldrs28.org/hotels/OldTimersReunionMenu.pdf , please look over what choices there are and please post back on this forum header that you are coming, who you are bringing with you and what each of you and your guest will be eating off the provided menu.

The room we have been giving will hold up to 55 people and it is close to the bar. The prices for the meals include taxes and gratuities and the only extra you would pay for is your beer, wine, achohol, and sodas. Water will be provided at the tables. The room will open at 7PM and dinner will be served at 7:30PM. We have the room until 11PM that night. The hotel will be providing a screen for the videos and such, we will have to provide the projectors and vhs/dvd/laptop players.

I have to give the hotel a final head count for the food after 3PM on Monday June 29th so they know what dinners to start preparing for us. You will have to give the cash for your food either at the field, (maybe at the registration tent) or I will have to collect it at the door to the room. You will recieve a dinner ticket indicating your choice and you need to keep it to present it to your server so you can get the meal you wanted.

If you haven't indicated your dinner choice by Monday June 29th at 3:00 PM, you will not be able to get any food at the reunion. I also have to cut off the participation for the reunion at 55 people.

Those who are invited to attend will be those with low TRA numbers, those who have served on the TRA BOD, those who have run a past or present LDRS, and those who would be considered "touched" like stuffing a 6" diameter motor into a 7.5" upscale Fat Boy.

Many will be bringing videos and memorabilia of the past to show after the dinner along with pleasant shooting of the bull among friends. I hope everyone has a good time, see you there.

I want to add that the dinner is at the Host Hotel, the Holiday Inn in Waterloo and you will have to go out to the bar to get your beverages and pay for them there.

Mike, I'll be there. and would like the Hamburger (I know this is different than what I said before).

If I can find my LDRS10 t-shirt, I'll wear that.

That's OK Stu, this count is the official one and anyone who said anything else different before can change it here and now.

John Sicker here and I like to order the Baked Haddock.

I will be bringing a LCD Projector and DVD Player to show some of the classic video's folks will hopefully bring to the event. I have a few I that I have transfered to DVD that might be of interest that I will bring.

Hmm Stu now I have see if I can find my LDRS 9 T shirt to beat you .
But of course then Chris Pearson will just show up wearing a LDRS 1 shirt (if there is such a thing) and we all be put to shame.

Thanks for organizing this. I guess I will be compelled to attend, despite the company I see who posted so far! :-)

OK, so maybe they will want to bolt when they see I'm going....

I won't be bringing a guest, since no one likes me much. Please mark me down for the Baked Haddock with Rice.

Hi All,

Here it is Sunday morning, about a day and a half before I have to call in the final head count for a room that will hold 55 people and as you can see there are only 12 people signed up so far. If you are thinking you would like to attend this dinner, then sign up by posting what you would like to eat from the above menu and your welcome to attend. This is not an exclusive event, anyone from LDRS 28 is welcome to come to this dinner, I just have to cut off participation at 55 people due to the room capacity requirements.

So just sign up, this will be a great time among fellow rocketry friends.

Thank you

I'll be there.

I'll bring a DVD of Danville Dare October 1989.

I'll have the chicken as I've been on a diet and still need 25 more pounds to get lost.
