I attended one day of LDRS as a spectator this year,with my Dad and my 2.5 year old son. He was the little guy running around with the blue ear-protection headphones that many people noticed.
We had a great time as spectators for our one day there. We're just getting into small rockets (loved finding the fliskits vendor table) and the big stuff may be years off for us, but we hope to attend some more events.
I have many hobbies, and usually attending a convention or conference I feel like an insider with the language, lingo, and acronyms. This time I felt like an outsider coming in, but the people I met were so friendly that it changed quickly. What a great group of folks!
We hope to start a small scale club in our area soon. I hope to bring a group to LDRS 30 if it's again within 3 hours drive for us.
Thanks again for a great day for spectators.
